Body Painting Tattoo Art Especially Japanese
Impressionistic Tree Tattoo on the Back
Wow. We love this tattoo. The loose impressionistic styling of the leaves is reminiscent of Manet. Very individualistic.
BoPhoto said it took seven hours to do – and yeah, it hurt.
It was created by Jason Wells of Pulse Dermagraphics in Kent, Ohio. You can’t really tell by this photo, but near the trunk and on the outside of the leaves Wells used Japanese brush strokes. Very cool.
Cat Tattoo
When you love your cat this much, it’s time to get a cat tattoo.
Striking use of monochromatic palette adds dimension and style.
There are many places that one could put their cat tattoo, but the arm works well here.
Cherry Blossoms Make An Elegant Shoulder Tattoo
This cherry blossom tattoo on the shoulder is hitting it out of the park.
I love that tattoo design is really breaking out of the traditional mold – and that tattoo artists are becoming just that – artists. Their artistry is in design, the colour, the texture – knowing the parts of the body and how the tattoo will look on it.
Older traditional tattoo designs can have a cartoony 2d look to them – but newer designs are looser, more flowing. I think we are going in a never before explored world of tattoo design – with such looseness of strokes that would make even Vincent Van Gogh proud.
This cherry blossom tattoo drapes ever so sweetly over the woman’s shoulder. I love how the flowers are layered one on top of the other.
You can really call this tattoo an accessory. Kind of like a shawl draped over the shoulder.
Remember, tattoo regret is pretty common. That’s why a lifetime memberships with a Tattoo gallery is a great idea – there’s no rushing when it comes to choosing your tattoo.
Koi Dragon Arm Sleeve tattoo
Koi Dragon Arm Sleeve with beautiful colours.
Dragons are popular in the orient. They are a symbol of wisdom and longevity. The koi carp is a symbol of perseverance and courage. That is why koi and dragons make very popular tattoo subjects.
I love the beautiful colours on this tattoo. The details and shading on this arm sleeve tattoo are wonderful.
There’s nothing worse than rushing your tattoo choice. Take your time when choosing your tattoo – remember, you are going to have to love it the rest of your life.
